Our Mission
Creating Lasting Change for Animals.
The Aslan Foundation is a mission-driven animal rescue and advocacy organization dedicated to improving the lives of animals through rescue, rehabilitation, ethical veterinary care, and owner accountability. Founded by Amy Lengrand in memory of her service dog Aslan, the Foundation honors the bond between humans and animals by promoting compassionate, evidence-based care.
More than a traditional rescue organization, The Aslan Foundation takes a holistic approach by rescuing animals in need, educating owners, collaborating with veterinarians, and advocating for higher standards of care that support long-term health and well-being.
The Foundation strives to be a trusted voice in animal welfare, bridging rescue, veterinary science, and community education to help prevent unnecessary suffering and improve outcomes for animals everywhere.
